The Sir Michael Marshall Young Persons Lecture Competition
The Cambridge Branch is proud to announce that Sir Michael Marshall, Honorary Life Vice President of the branch, has agreed to endorse the branch’s annual lecture competition which will be known as the “Sir Michael Marshall Young Persons Lecture Competition” in recognition of his continued support of the competition. The competition aims to inspire future generations by encouraging them to engage with Aeronautics and facilitate a personal development opportunity for those within the profession.

Lecture Competition 2018
The RAeS Cambridge Branch will be holding its 2015 lecture competition and is looking for presenters to participate.
Tuesday 6th March 2018 at 4 pm
Sir Michael Marshall Award Trophy & £200 Prize for overall winner
Additional Prizes for the winner of each age group.
- The competition is eligible to all younger persons (not just RAeS members) under the age of 30
- Categories for ages 18 and under, 19 to 25, and 26 to 30 (age as of 06/03/2018)
- Provide a 20 minute presentation on ANY aeronautical related subject
- The winning presentations may be recommended to be put forward for the prestigious RAeS N E Rowe Medal Awards.
